Drea is a young woman from Brooklyn whose life is bursting with potential. Her job is offering her the chance to step up in a big way. She has a new guy in her life, Will, who plays drums in a local band. Drea is also starkly alone in the responsibility of caring for her father, Steven, who has Alzheimer’s. Steven routinely mistakes Drea for his wife, and he increasingly has trouble with simple tasks. As each day gets a little worse, and Drea feels her opportunities sinking one by one in the murk of her father’s illness, she’s forced to decide whether or not she’s capable of providing the care her father desperately needs.
